Website & Social

SAVO protects children in Uganda, who were driven out of their homes and living on the street due to family poverty, abuse, or parental illness or death. We provide a safe living environment and education opportunities by operating a children's home (orphanage) the "One Family Children's Home".

Our facility is in the town of Masaka, Uganda, and we support 20 children, many of whom have had psychological trauma. But through living safely and at peace in SAVO's home, their emotional damage is recuperating gradually.

"One Family Children's Home" also has a learning center which gives fundamental skills to children before entering primary school. Youngsters who graduate the learning center go on to elementary school. Although there is compulsory education in Uganda, elementary school is not free. Therefore, funds are used not only for living costs at the home such as food, and clothing, but also for tuition fee.

The director and manager "One Family Children's Home" in Uganda is Mutyaba Moses, who used to be a street child himself. He establised SAVE as a way to give back to his community and help children like himself.
